Petley-Jones Gallery offers a variety of fine art services, including restoration, framing, and appraisals.

Framing
Since its inception, Petley Jones Gallery has been offering the highest quality in conservation framing. All framing is done in-house by our own experienced framer.

We only use 100% acid-free, museum quality materials, and we offer a full selection of glass ranging from regular to museum quality UV protection TrueVue. We also offer a huge selection of moldings to suit your taste. Whether to enhance a painting’s beauty, make it period appropriate, or preserve it for the ages, we have the perfect frame for your fine art.

Restoration
We restore anything from oil paintings to watercolours, original prints, sculpture, and antique picture frames, and we offer a full range of restoration services from simple cleaning to patching and retouching of severely damaged works.

Appraisals
Petley Jones Gallery offers professional appraisal services for insurance purposes as well as verbal appraisals for those seeking a rough estimate of a painting’s worth. We can appraise your art in our gallery or on location for larger or more delicate works. Rough estimates can be given over the phone, but it is best to bring the piece into the gallery for a more definitive quote. To arrange for an appraisal, please call or email us with the following information ready:

• artist’s name
• estimate of painting’s age
• medium (oil on canvas, watercolour, etc)
• painting’s dimensions in inches

Rental of Gallery Space
Host your next party or event at Petley Jones Gallery. Looking for a venue for your next cocktail party, reception, private birthday party or fundraiser? Our convenient location boasts ~1500 sq/ft of beautiful open space, artwork, in-house sound system, prep-kitchenette, washroom and additional prep-space at an additional cost.
